One of the happiest moments in life is having tea with friends while sharing stories, memories and laughter. Afternoon teas have always been very special to us and to celebrate our 1st anniversary, we gave away an Afternoon Tea Package as a Thank You gift to one of our Facebook followers. Robert won A&K’s First Anniversary Afternoon Tea Giveaway last July and gave the prize to his lovely fiancé Amy to enjoy with 3 of her friends. Congratulations Amy for winning this special treat and for officially having the sweetest partner in the world! <3
Amy’s Afternoon Tea Party table is a celebration of beautiful things: flowers, Spring, love, friendship and of course, Tea! And what could be a more elegant way to express romantic charm and floral grace than with beautiful vintage fine bone china.
Amy’s Afternoon Tea Party featured our divine Royal Albert vintage tea set collection:
Polka blue, Cheeky Pink, Polka Mint, Pink Country Roses tea cups, saucers, ceramic spoons and cake tiers. We dressed the table with our Royal Albert New Country Roses white table cloth and decorated it with some lovely flower arrangements in vintage crystal vases.
We served up a selection of sweet and savoury pastries, profiteroles, eclairs, and a selection of macarons and mini cakes. We used our Royal Albert cake tiers and gorgeous antique gold pedestal cake stand to make Amy and her friends feel like Royalty. The tea selection were all of Amy’s favourites: Peppermint, Chamomile, London tea and English Afternoon tea. To mark the special occasion, we also created personalised place holders and menu cards inspired by the colours and details of our Royal Albert vintage tea set collection.
They say, “You can’t buy Happiness, but you can buy a cup of tea. And that’s kind of the same thing”…And we couldn’t agree more.
