On a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon at the Bennelong Lawn with the stunning view of the Harbour Bridge & Sydney Opera House, A&K had the pleasure to be a part of Joanne and Leo’s peach and grey French vintage themed garden wedding ceremony.
A lover of all things vintage, hands-on bride Joanne envisioned a simple yet elegant and stylish vintage theme for their wedding. We helped Joanne and Leo make their dream wedding come true by styling a mini dessert buffet for the ceremony, using our French vintage themed crystal cake stands, footed bowls, apothecary jars, vintage props and decors.
Our favourite things on the table were the vintage lace buntings, the crochet lace patterns draping the table and wooden risers, the soft peach chiffon rosettes with lovely pearl and diamante brooch centres, those intricate heart and square shaped cookies with laced fondant and floral details, and the white distressed French wooden box with traditional print glass lid that let’s you look through and be tempted by those perfect Laduree petite macarons.
We really enjoyed designing and making all the personalised details to make the dessert buffet truly unique and memorable for the bride & groom:
- the French vintage framed personalised lolly labels and dessert table signs to match the style of the Bride & Groom’s wedding invitation
- the handcrafted lace and jute ribbon skirting for the lolly jars
- the lovely fresh peach roses in the glass mini lustre vases
- the romantic bird cages floral and candle arrangements with rosettes and lace details
It was a pleasure working with Joanne in planning her wedding dessert table and such an honour to have had the opportunity to be there on her special day and see everything come together. Congratulations Joanne and Leo!
