Aphro, our graphic artist, a.k.a “Creative Juice” is an ice cream addict and she’s turning 30. We put the two together and created a Happy 30 Flavours of Ice Cream dessert table to celebrate her 30th Birthday.
First, we went to different shops and ice creameries to find Aphro’s favourite flavours, then we searched through her collection of cups, mugs, plates & bric-a-brac looking for patterns and textures we can mix n’ match to reflect her creative personality. We kept the table styling simple with soft pastel colours and splashes of blues, orange and red for contrast. We chose not to use labels and made a fun guessing game of tasting & naming the flavours. We love the homey D.I.Y. look of the table making it feel warm and inviting despite the winter chill and all the desserts being freezing cold.
Yes, it’s a cold winter’s day in July, but for A&K, you’re never too old and it’s never too cold for an ice cream party!
