Natalie’s “Cute As A Button” Baby Shower

Cute as a button. Sweet as can be. Today we had the pleasure to style one of our favourite party themes, a Pastel Cute As A Button Baby Shower to celebrate mum-to-be Natalie.

It is our second time to style this theme and we were so excited to try some new ideas to pretty up the dessert table and the venue. Natalie wanted everything to be colour coordinated: the sweets buffet, gifts table, drink station, and guests table. We used buttons and pastel colours to tie all the elements of the party together including some large pretty button topiary table centrepieces we hand crafted with love.

Our new pastel ruffled table cloth was the perfect setting for the dessert buffet and the matching personalised pastel paper fans provided a sweet backdrop for the desserts. We’re in love with the cute colours and flavours of the cookies, cake pops and buttercream frosted cupcakes topped with adorable baby onesies, pram, rocking horse and buttons! We used a mix of pink, blue, green and yellow ceramic cake stands and platters to serve up the sweet pastel desserts. All those fun & colourful lollies looked like confetti in their pretty little jars accessorised with custom designed labels with button details.
