Self-proclaimed geeks Clare and Arfy couldn’t have chosen a better wedding theme than a quirky carnival festival. Held in Fairground Follies, the day-long “Clarfy Fest” wedding festival showed the couple’s creativity and highlighted their eccentric style.
It was indeed both a challenge and delight for A&K to put together a dessert buffet which combines the couple’s favourites — rainbow colours, woodland and mushrooms, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and all things geeky.
A&K worked closely with Clare on selecting the lollies and incorporating the couple’s toys and bric-a-brac. Our favourite elements of the dessert buffet are:
The personalised lolly and dessert labels inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and Star Wars;
The handmade lolly jar ribbons with special rainbow and mini wood stump buttons
The “Alice in Wonderland” and “Jack Skellington and Sally” dioramas in our mini glass cloche
Our woodland themed decors and props: wood stumps, moss stones, moss bunnies, and astroturf
What made the dessert buffet even more special were Clare’s homemade cakes and desserts, the handcrafted decors, and all the couple’s families and friends who came in colourful costumes to celebrate Clare and Arfy’s special day.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Clare and Arfy and it is our great pleasure that we were able to help them make their dream wedding come true. Congratulations and thank you Clare and Arfy!
