To celebrate this February month of Love, A&K is featuring 3 unique Hearts themed mini dessert buffets that will surely please the Romantics, the Sweet type and the Quirky lovers out there!
The Romantic Type
You are a passionate and faithful lover. You enjoy intimate moments and take pleasure from the finer things in life, like a rich red velvet cupcake or decadent chocolate.
We wanted to create the intimate mood of a romantic dinner date with this simple dessert table. The rich chocolate coated oreos and red velvet cupcakes all decorated with roses, ribbons and love hearts are too tempting to resist. The shabby bird feature on the white ceramic cake stand and compote are like two love birds courting in a garden of sweet red desserts.
The Sweet Type
You are young at heart, fun-loving and always caring. You love cuddles, snuggles, hugs and kisses. You are as sweet as pink fluffy marshmallows, sugar cookies and swirly rose frosted cupcakes.
Remember your first crush when you were just a little girl or the first time you fell in love? We wanted to recreate those puppy love moments in this sweet and pretty in pink dessert buffet set on our beautiful white wooden dressing table. The floral fabric buntings and heart shaped doilies create a soft and gentle frame around the sweet treats of pink marshmallows, milk bottles, butter cream frosted cupcakes with hearts and rose toppers. It all just makes you feel like a young girl in love again.
The Quirky Type
You are charming, creative and crazy in love. You are artistic and you go out of your way to make your loved one feel extra special. You are as vibrant and exciting as bright red jaffas and strawberry candy.
This Valentine’s dessert table celebrates vintage love with a quirky twist. The beautiful vintage console table inspired the table pieces and decors. We mixed country rustic with a bit of high tea elegance. We used the Love Heart shape to creatively tie everything together – framed chalkboard heart, wooden typographic stamps and printed canvas. We love the beautifully decorated cupcakes featured under the glass cloche, the scrabble letter centre piece, and the hints of black creating a contrast to the red and wood colour scheme.
